We would like to give you a brief insight into our exciting journey in participating at the '' FIC Food Award 2023'' in Hamburg. As a small food startup, we were able to win first place as '' Best Product of the Year 2023'' on this unique platform with our crunchy '' Water Lily Pops'' .
The beginning of Just Nosh
A few years ago, our journey began with a simple idea: innovative vegan snacks from India that not only taste good but are also rich in nutrients. We wanted to offer an alternative to the existing snacks such as potato chips. This is how Just Nosh was born - a name that stands for enjoyment, sustainability and innovation.
Applying for the FIC Food Award 2023
When we heard about the opportunity to take part in the *FIC Food Award* in July 2023, we were thrilled. The Food Innovation Camp with the award is a unique event that brings together startups, experts and food lovers. It's not just about products, but also about ideas, trends and the future of nutrition.
Our application was a combination of passion and hard work. We sent our product for tasting, explained our vision and shared our experience as a young company. The jury was already impressed by our creativity and the taste of the *Water Lily Pops* . More than 100 start-ups applied for the first round.
Participation in the final pitch day
When we received the news that we had even made it to the final of the TOP 3 start-ups and products, we were overjoyed. The pitch evening at the end of September 2023 in Hamburg gave us the opportunity to present our products live to a select jury of experts and a great audience. We were also very excited about the pitch from our competitors.
